INDIVIDUAL MEMBER

Any person interested in tracking activities, affiliated with an education organization or agency that has interests in tracking, or those persons employed by agencies and organizations that have tracking as an application.

GROUP MEMBER

"A mutual benefit relationship between ISPT and your organization"

Tracking schools, SAR units, clubs, corporations, associations, or retail stores attracted to tracking as a favorite pursuit, affiliated with an education organization, or agency that has interests in tracking. An organization or company interested in the support and promotion of the objectives of ISPT.

How would your organization benefit with an ISPT "Group" subscription?

1. "Preferred" referrals when requests come into ISPT

2. Access to ISPT's database (Names addresses and email) for reuse in direct mailings or promotions. This database is made up of ISPT members and people that have contacted ISPT with an interest in tracking in all of its many facets

3. Permission to reprint any articles made in Track & Sign (tm) for reuse in your internal communications or publications

4. Advertisement space (business card size) in each Track & Sign (tm) Publication, while your Group remains a member in good standing

5. Permission to include the ISPT Logo within your publications, ads, or products

6. Five copies of each Track & Sign (tm) issue mailed to contact or directly to your 5 listed members

What an ISPT Group Membership means

1. Group membership supports what each other are doing in the world of tracking, but does not suggest endorsement by ISPT nor your group’s 100% endorsement of ISPT.

2. Group membership uplifts communication within our small tracking world, but does not imply affiliation other than membership with a connective newsletter.

3. Group membership supports all tracking skill types and perpetuation, but does not carry a sanction or validation of your teachings nor tracking methods.

GROUP ASSOCIATION with ISPT– Four Defined Choices

“RIG” = REGIONAL INTEREST GROUP (Guilds) – Collections or pockets of trackers that are geographically or regionally defined. A particular tracking SKILL SET will not define RIGs. An example would be the “NCTG,” Northern California Tracking Guild, a blend of animal and Search and Rescue Trackers.

It is ISPT’s goal to cultivate communication between all trackers as well as helping regional groups in connecting to improve networking abilities. Generally this would be a group that has no means of funding or sales generation.

Bringing together a group of 5 or more interested trackers that will actively stay in contact with each other for mutual support and skill development forms a RIG. ISPT can assist in putting you in contact with other trackers in your immediate areas; however forming and developing a RIG will be dependent upon you.

Benefits are that collectively you all save some money in this unique group membership. Membership in your RIG can grow to as many members as you wish, beyond that of the 5 members listed as RIG FOUNDERS, it will be dependent on these five founders of the RIG to maintain and grow the Guild within your Region.

You are permitted:

• 1) to come up with your own unique name,

• 2) add new RIG members, and

• 3) can charge annual guild dues (Level decided by the Founders of the RIG).

The Founders Listed with ISPT are all covered by the initial Group Fee - Additional Rostered Guild Members will be charged an additional $15 each year by ISPT. Group will be billed based on Roster.

A RIG Column space will be available in each Track & Sign™ Publication

“SIG” = SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP – Collections or pockets of trackers that are grouped by virtue of a unique skill set. May or may not be subdivided by regional constraints. A particular tracking SKILL SET will define a SIG.

Examples are search and rescue trackers, trappers, biologists, or law enforcement trackers. ISPT’s goal is to cultivate communication between all trackers as well as helping special interest groups in connecting to improve networking capabilities. Generally this would be a group that has no means of funding or sales generation. Bringing together a group of five or more interested trackers that will actively stay in contact with each other for mutual support and skill development forms a SIG. ISPT can assist in putting you in contact with other trackers in you immediate areas, however forming a SIG will be incumbent upon you.

Benefits would be; collectively you could all save some money in this unique group membership. Membership in your SIG can grow to as many members as you wish, outside of the five members listed as SIG FOUNDERS with one primary contact person. It will be dependent on these five founders of the SIG to maintain and grow the SIG within your Special Interest.

You are permitted:

• 1) to come up with your own unique SIG name,

• 2) add new SIG members, and

• 3) can charge additional annual SIG dues (Level decided by the Founders of the SIG).

All additional SIG members will come under your ISPT umbrella for purposes of ISPT functions and discounts. There is a fee for your additional ISPT Rostered members and it is collected by the SIG and paid to ISPT. That fee will be a $15 annual renewal for each SIG Member above the first 5 Founders. Group will be billed based on Roster.

The SIG Founders Listed with ISPT are all (up to 5 in number) covered by the initial Group Fee - Additional Rostered SIG Members will be charged an additional $15 each year by ISPT

A SIG Column space will be available in each Track & Sign™ Publication

"SOG" = STABLE ORGANIZED GROUP – which are Schools and Commercialized Tracking Programs that are active in advancing the different skills of tracking. Generally this would be a group that has funding available or is sales generating. You are the stable guidance behind moving the skill of tracking onto the next generation. ISPT can assist in putting you in contact with trackers in your immediate areas, however forming a SOG will be driven by the organization. Membership with ISPT is extended to 5 members of your organization’s Staff for purposes of  ISPT functions and discounts.

ISPT Roster Limited to 5 members listed with ISPT – With one primary contact person.

“SAG” = STABLE AGENCY GROUP – Are Businesses or Agencies supportive in the connection with tracking. With their product or activity, sharing the interest of the tracker or in the skills of the tracker … i.e. Outdoor gear, Government Wildlife Divisions, Law Enforcement. Generally this would be a group that has resources or sales generation. ISPT can assist in putting you in contact with trackers in your immediate areas, however forming a SAG will be Agency driven. Membership with ISPT is extended to 5 members of your organization’s Staff for purposes of ISPT functions and discounts.

ISPT Roster Limited to 5 members listed with ISPT – With one primary contact person.
